Meditation Introduction
Meditation Introduction

There are energizing and personal connections between the outer material world and our inner world of human experience that can bring ongoing newness into every day life and be directly experienced by anyone.

Ralph Waldo Emerson
American poet, essayist, and philosopher
"To the dull mind nature is leaden.
To the illumined mind the whole world burns and sparkles with light"

In our Meditation section, we invite you to look at ways to meditate on our connections with the world using minerals, crystals, or stones. These terms are referred to interchangeably here for simplicity's sake.

What is offered here isn't the only way to go about meditating; it is an introduction to a method which we have found to be accessible and helpful. We hope you'll find something inspiring and useful in these pages.

Sections include: explorations of the questions What is meditation?, Why meditate?, Why meditate with minerals?, General Tips for working with minerals and over 20 guided meditations that can be used with minerals including: Amethyst, Angelite, Aquamarine, Blue Lace Agate, Bloodstone, Carnelian, Celestine, Fluorite, Hematite, Jade, Jasper, Labradorite, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Moonstone, Optical Calcite, Peach Quartz, Prehnite, Rock Crystal Quartz, Rose Quartz, Serpentine and Snowflake Obsidian.
